What is The Voiceworks?

The Voiceworks is a database containing profiles of people who use their voice to earn a living in the media today.

The Voiceworks has been developed as a resource to enable industry professionals to quickly and easily locate voice talent for their projects.

The Voiceworks is NOT a recruitment/employment agency, and does not act as an agent, broker or in any other representative capacity for any of the voice talents.

The site is FREE to browse; no commissions are charged to either prospective employers or voice talents.

The Voiceworks' goal is to be the most comprehensive showcase of voice talent on the Internet.

Does my subscription guarantee commissions?

Subscribing to TheVoiceworks.com ensures that your profile details are available all over the world via our significant presence on the Net. 

For legal reasons we cannot be involved in negotiations between you and Producers who wish to use your voice and, therefore, we are not privy to detailed statistics. 

However, we do have consistent feed-back from subscribers indicating that their once-only subscription has been worthwhile.  We know from experience that you need to promote your voice in as many places as you can. 

Some professionals have such a track record which makes this less imperative but even they usually continue to advertise their services wherever they can. Never be complacent.

How up-to-date is The Voiceworks?

We rely on subscribers to take responsibility for the content of their profiles, where possible. Every effort is made to ensure that the information published is accurate and current.

How do I search and find the Right Voice?

The Voiceworks is, essentially, a database. To search - keep things simple.

E.g. If you're looking for a Voiceover, Male, US - start with those criteria via the drop-down boxes on the Fast-Track Page. If you want to add, for example, Spanish, add that word to the keyword box. You could simply type Spanish, Italian, Russian or any other nationality in to the keyword box and this will yield results, too.

How do I Commission Voice Talent?

Please feel free to contact your nominated voice talent direct, using the contact details shown in their profile.

If your selected voice talent has a manager or agent, please ALWAYS contact their representative.

Agents and managers play an important role in representing their clients, and you are advised to use their experience to your advantage when booking a voice for your project.

Why should I Subscribe?

Professionals, keep your current page up-to-date and online! The Voiceworks is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can make updates via your personal log-in area.

It is also a valuable tool for those actively seeking work in the media. Employers can quickly search and book voice talent free-of-charge.

The site can be quickly updated – unlike hard-copy databases.

How do I Add My Voice?

Voice professionals (who are currently working in relevant industries) may add their voice to the database using our online Registration Form.

After submitting the form and associated files, a personalized log-in password will be issued, enabling subscribers to pay the subscription fee and, thereafter, manage their own profiles.

An e-mail will be sent to applicants when their profiles have been added to the database.

Subscribers wishing to add extra audio files to their page may only do so after they have been accepted on to the database.

I'm a Newbie. Can I Add My Voice?

Yes! Talented newcomers are encouraged to use The Voiceworks to promote their voices by using an online Registration Form.

A one-time fee, which can be submitted online, will be charged for entry to the database.

Any performer who exhibits – through their demo material – a proficiency, competency and quality of performance that will add to the overall quality of The Voiceworks, will be accepted.

A voice demo that is less than helpful to the production community will be rejected and all fees refunded.

An e-mail will be sent to applicants when their profiles have been added to the database.

What's the best way for a Newbie to get accepted?

It is essential that you submit the best material you can possibly source.

Please look at our free download via the Front page (Newcomers) which gives comprehensive advice.

Can I change my Profile/Contact Details/Demo?

You can make changes to your profile via your personal log-in home page and contact details are always updateable without charge. It is your responsibility to make sure that we have up-to-date information.

Current subscribers can provide their search keywords (15 max) by login to their accounts.

How can I remove my Profile?

The Voiceworks will remove any profiles free-of-charge, if requested by the subscriber. Please click HERE.
