Bill Buckley is a presenter on BBC Southern Counties Radio. He’s also the voice between programmes on Channel 5 during the week.
He started his professional life as a newspaper journalist and became one of the team of presenters on Esther Rantzen’s award-winning show, That’s Life.
Bill’s involvement in television continued with a series of filmed reports for the Holiday programme on BBC1. He has also presented numerous shows for Meridian Television and made guest appearances on Blankety Blank, Call My Bluff, and Songs of Praise.
Bill is also something of a songwriter and penned the theme tune/hit song Starting Together, for Sue Pollard!
His radio career includes stints at BBC Radio Solent, South Coast Radio, LBC, and Lite AM in Manchester. |
