Throughout the nineties, Chris Scott was one of the main faces on cable television in the UK. As one of the anchor presenters on Channel 10, Chris hosted shows such as "The Hourglass", "Scene 10", "News Scene", "Garden Party", and most noteably "Ntertainment Total Lifestyle".
In amongst the hectic schedule for the channel, Chris also made appearances on BBC Channel 4, Living and Virgin Radio. Also, in 1999, Chris was one of the first of the UK’s presenters to launch his own online service. The site received just over 10,000 hits in its first year.
In the summer of 2000, Channel 10 ceased broadcasting and Chris decided to take a break from the eight years he had already spent on-screen. He pursued a number of other areas including developing vast experience in Revenue Management of the travel industry - and became an expert Event and Wedding Organiser in the process.
After a 3 year break Chris is now back and raring to go and has started work on a new book, "Ted & Margo", which he hopes to have finished by the end of the year. The book follows the hosts of a high-rated daytime television show through the highs and lows of their careers. Chris loves reading biographies of the rich and famous, is a self confessed Harry Potter fan and enjoys tennis, catching up with friends, travel and has also developed a keen interest in gardening over the last twelve months. |
