Elaine Hughes has had twenty years of classical voice training in musical theatre. She has taken classes provided by a professional theater – Adult Acting Class I and II, Scene study, and for the past four years has participated in staged readings with the Hey Day Players – an acting troupe sponsored by Montgomery County, Maryland, Senior Addition Education Committee.
She has appeared in musical and dramatic productions in local community theatre for many years. She has written and directed musical revues for the Bethesda Little Theatre and appeared in their annual productions for the past twelve years.
She has created and performed a two-woman show called “What You Don’t Know About Women”, which was performed at the University of Maryland’s Monday Night Music Series and the Arts Club of Washington, and has appeared as soloist in the Messiah for the past four years.
Her acting and performance experience and work recording for the blind give her a wide range of versatility as a voiceover artist. |
