Jonathan Copus spent fourteen years with BBC Radio and Television, working in general programmes as well as news and current affairs as a staff producer, presenter and director.
As an instructor in the Local Radio Training Unit he co-designed and tutored the BBC’s first direct-intake training course for local radio journalists.
While continuing to freelance for the BBC and other agencies, he is now Managing Director of Dentron Limited and runs its subsidiary production and training company, Immedia Television and Radio Services.
His Network and Commercial credits include: World at One (BBC Radio 4); You and Yours (Radio 4); Sunday Half Hour (Radio 2 and BBC World Service); Let the Band Play (Radio 2); Songs of Praise (BBC1 Television); Home on Sunday (BBC1); Diary of Britain (BBC2); and the audio books The Greengage Summer (with Susannah York), Riddle of the Sands (with Martin Jarvis), The Virgin Soldiers (with Hywel Bennett), A Fine Night for Dying (with Barry Foster), Heartstones and Thornapple (with Geraldine James), and Flyaway (with Keith Barron).
Jonathan also specialises in technical video voiceovers, including distance-training CD-ROMs for engineers servicing Nikon integrated circuit manufacturing equipment. |
