One of the best known faces and voices in Welsh broadcasting, Kim Marks set her sights on a career in the media at the age of fourteen.
After gaining an M.Sc. in Apicultural Research (bee research!) from University College Cardiff in 1983, Kim joined BBC Radio Wales as a Researcher. From here she moved into the Presentation Department at Radio Wales in 1985, where she was given her first taste of live broadcasting, as both an announcer and newsreader.
Seven years as a news presenter with the BBC Wales flagship news programme Wales Today, followed and now, two children later, Kim has returned to her first love - radio! You can hear Kim reading the news and making the presentation announcements on BBC Radio Wales.
Kim also regularly lectures on Presentation/Public Speaking and hosts seminars, conferences and concerts.
