For many years Spencer Kelly presented the Ocean FM breakfast show Monday to Friday and also starred in several local pantomimes.
In 2003 he became the new face of BBCi - one of 5 iPresenters (Interactive presenters) who are the face of the BBC’s interactive services. The team is pioneering new forms of interactive broadcasting, using the web, digital TV and digital radio.
Spencer says, "the sort of things we are doing include Interactive LiveChats - live interviews with celebrities, streamed across the web, where the audience ask the guest questions live. In time we’ll be popping up on interactive TV too - we were chosen because we can present, but also understand how to interact with the audience". |
