Dan is a broadcasting student at Colorado State University-Pueblo in Pueblo, Colorado. He is originally from Colorado Springs and graduated from Pine Creek High School in 2002.
He began his broadcasting career in Fall of 2003 after enrolling in the introduction to radio class at CSU-Pueblo. He then began began working at the college station, Rev89 KTSC, in October 2003 on the 3AM-6AM shift. Since then, he has Worked overnights, Weekend Mid-days and Weekday evenings.
In the summer of 2004, Dan began his commercial broadcasting career as an intern for Clear Channel Radio in Colorado Springs. He worked as a promotions assistant and as a live-remote producer for KKLI 106.3, KMOM 96.1 (Now KIBT The Beat), KVUU 99.9 (Now MY99), and KCCY 96.9. He also worked in the production department and discovered that he enjoyed making the commercials even more than he thought.
Dan is currently the Creative Services Director of the college radio station. In addition to supervising production, Dan also assists students with live remotes and promotions and basic technical radio operation.
He also is a member of the production crew on the Rocky Mountain PBS shows "Homework Hotline" and "Matchwits." In addition, he directed the 2005 KTSC Auction. During the Summer of 2005, Dan expanded his broadcasting network by interning at KOAA-TV, a local NBC affiliate
