Derek's recent hosting work includes: ABC TV's Prime Time reality series pilot "Wallet Roulette"; "Betrayal of the American Investor", a documentary for the History Channel (about Germany owing American investors 600 Billion dollars!) and the series: "Magical Egypt", "Millionaire TV" and Non Profit TV News.
For 35 years, his distinguished (007!) appearance and distinctive (but not stuffy!) Brit accent have provided credibility for quality programs and blue chip corporate clients. He also works on-camera in French, Italian, German and Castilian Spanish.
He's well known to affluent viewers from 10 years as a news anchor, writer and interviewer at FNN (Financial News Network - now CNBC). He started with RTV and RBC radio in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe), where he became the nation's head TV news anchor, host of the top-rated talk show Frankly Partridge and presenter of Message to the Nation TV specials. In Miami, he hosted two daily, 2-hour radio talk shows and anchored the 6.00 pm news hour for ABC affiliate WKAT. He was also a news anchor for London's Sky TV.
Derek hosts programs and videos on health, the environment, medicine, finance, commerce, law, art, travel, religion, training, safety, sport and celebrity interviews. He is the national TV spokesman for Monex Precious Metals, for the Balboa Pacific Corporation, a company whose technology converts toxic and hazardous wastes into reusable materials by pyrolitic gasification and for Global Informatics Technology, designed to save the government $100 billion in annual medical fraud.
